When students transition from kindergarten to primary school, there are significant changes in their learning environment, curriculum, teachers, and classmates. In order for students to adapt to primary school life quicker, cooperation between parents and the school is crucial. Therefore, at the beginning of K3, the school will hold talks explaining the primary school application process, highlighting all the important areas in the application. Afterwards, the school will organize visits to nearby primary schools, introducing K3 students to the primary school environment and primary school courses. Additionally, the school has also arranged group sharing sessions, inviting parents of former students to return to the school and share their children’s adaptation experiences when transitioning to primary school, promoting mutual exchange with current parents. In the next semester, social worker will organize group games to help students understand the differences between primary school life and kindergarten life. School will also arrange speakers to introduce techniques for enhancing children’s executive abilities to parents, enabling them to understand how to assist their children in adapting to primary school life.
